Once at place I worked they were firing someone I respected.
I asked a top level executive why, without showing an emotion he said,
“Because he’s obsolete”.

i was curious about the specs of this machine, went to http://oldcomputers.net/atari800.html
the best was the ram, the base being 8k. and storage being an external 90K. floppy drive and a
cassette recorder for the big files
